Katarzyna Juszczyk-Frelkiewicz, adiunkt w Zakładzie Socjologii Wiedzy Instytutu Socjologii Wydziału Nauk Społecznych Uniwersytetu Śląskiego. Jej zainteresowania naukowo-badawcze koncentrują się wokół rodziny, alternatywnych form życia małżeńsko-rodzinnego oraz współczesnego społeczeństwa polskiego. Swe dotychczasowe osiągnięcia badawcze i naukowe opublikowała w kilku artykułach zamieszczonych w czasopismach o międzynarodowym i krajowym zasięgu. Jest uczestniczką kilku międzynarodowych projektów badawczych. Była stypendystką Funduszu Wyszehradzkiego. [13.10.2014]
Katarzyna Juszczyk-Frelkiewicz is an assistant professor in the Institute of Sociology at the Faculty of Social Sciences at the University of Silesia in Katowice (Poland). She is interested in sociology of marriage, family and the alternative family life forms, especially cohabitation, and also contemporary polish family and social morality. She is an author of many publications in Polish and English languages. The most important publication are: Factors Influencing the Spread of Cohabitation Phenomenon in Poland: Sociological Study among Residents of Katowice (2015), (with M. Simó-Solsona), The Shape of the Contemporary Family in Poland and Spain (2015), Kohabitacja w Polsce i na Słowacji. Studium socjologiczne w środowiskach studenckich / Cohabitation in Poland and Slovak Republic. Sociological study in students environment (2014), Importance of the Institution of Marriage for Polish and Slovak Students (2013). Katarzyna Juszczyk-Frelkiewicz is a member of International Association for Relationship Research, Polish Sociological Association and Korea Foundation. She was also a Visegrad scholarship holder and coordinator of many research project. In 2015 she was attended in the “Regular soft-skills course” realized in Wageningen University in Netherlands within the framework of the project: “Support for the management of research and its results” financed by European Union and the Ministry of Science and Higher Education in the framework of the Operational Program of Innovative Economy.
