„Annales Mathematicae Silesianae” publikuje znaczące prace naukowe i przeglądowe ze wszystkich działów matematyki teoretycznej i stosowanej, jak również sprawozdania z konferencji i sympozjów naukowych. Preferowane są artykuły opisujące ważne matematyczne rezultaty oraz ich uogólnienia. Złożone prace są recenzowane i tylko te najwyższej jakości przyjmowane są do druku.
Na obecny tom, oprócz artykułów prezentujących nowe, interesujące wyniki z różnych dziedzin matematyki, złożyło się sprawozdanie z konferencji Debrecen-Katowice Winter Seminar on Functional Equations and Inequalities.
